The cost of your initial 60-minute visit is $175.00 and each 30-minute follow-up visit is $75.00. Discounts are available when multiple sessions are booked and prepaid. Often your health insurance will cover nutrition counseling. Although Vital U LLC is private pay, documentation called a “superbill” can be supplied upon request which you submit for direct reimbursement.
What to expect during your sessions:
During your initial 60-minute session we become orientated with lifestyle, pre-existing conditions, and overall general health and habits. We determine short-term and long-term goals based on your specific needs and set up a game plan. At the end, we schedule a 30-minute follow-up appointment within the next two weeks. Further follow up frequency is different for every person. Some desire weekly meetings, some are comfortable with every 2-3 weeks and then there are those that come in every 2-3 months for maintenance and support.
Everyone’s nutritional situation is unique that without meeting you it is difficult to determine how many follow-up visits you may require as well as with what frequency. Follow-up visits are important to review your progress, modify your plan to help you reach your goals, and address any questions and obstacles with which you are struggling.
How to prepare for my appointment:
Please record a 24 hour food history – the form will be emailed to you upon registration and of course bring your questions. Also, please have available your medications and supplements, as well as any recent lab tests including bloodwork.
